Present continuous baby song

Present Continuous Baby was a song that I used when I taught my students at the beginning years of the 80s. It belonged to a collection of songs Mister Monday and other songs. I had a copy in an old cassette, and it worked very well. Internet had not reached our lives yet. At that time I bought my first computer: ZX Spectrum. Wow!

Listen to the song and follow the lyrics.

LYRICS

I'm walking down the street.
I'm waiting for a bus.
I’m watching an old lady
Who’s holding a small dog.

I’m looking through the windows
Of the shops along the way.
I’m thinking of my true love
Whos’ the angel of the day.

I can’t see her.
In the city of light.
I can’t hear her.
In the dark lonely night.

I’m sitting in a train.
I’m looking for my love.
I’m watching an old lady
Who’s holding a small dog.

I’m looking through the windows
At the trees along the way.
I’m thinking of my true love
Who’s the angel of the day

 I can’t see her, etc.

I’m walking down a street, etc.

 I can’t see her, etc.
